Why Women Need Strength for Fat Loss

Strength training has a bad rep in the women’s weight-loss community. Barbells and dumbbells are thought of as instruments that will get you “too bulky” or look too “manly.”

Women are strongly suggested to mix weight lifting in their workout routine because of its long-term health benefits.

It prevents the breakdown of bones (which all women experience after 50), it keep you firm, builds your self-confidence, keeps you curvy, and increases your strength.

This is the fastest way to get into your skinny jeans, smaller sized dress, you’ve been eyeing within the next 4-6 months. Of course, including a great nutrition plan.

You also don’t have to give up the treadmill, you can have both.

The treadmill can keep your heart flowing, warm you up before you venture off onto the gym floor with some weights.

Weight lifting will just make you feel and look bad ass, but the catch is, technique is everything. Like it’s super important.

Here are some of my best instructional videos; breaking down form and as best as possible. Steal this next time you’re strength training in the gym.

Floor Chest Press Demo here

This focuses on the butt, chest, and back of arms.

Side Planks Demo here

This exercise focus on the love handles.

Kneeling Military Press

This tones entire arms and builds a strong midsection

3 sets 12-15 reps (light to moderate weight)

Kettlebell Rows

This exercise TORCHES back fat, and sculpts your arms.

If you put these exercises together with a customized meal plan, I guarantee you will see a difference in your body and on the scale.
